...And Justice for All (1979)

Arthur Kirkland is one of the best defense attorneys in Baltimore. He cares about his clients and every week he visits his aging grandfather who put him through law school. But he also has to deal with his law partner Jay Porter who's on the verge of a nervous breakdown, and a new relationship with an attorney who is on the bar's disciplinary committee. When Judge Rayford is charged with rape, Arthur Kirkland is forced to defend him despite hating the man because he won't even look at the evidence for one of his client's whom is innocent. He eventually finds out that the judge did commit the crime and if he doesn't defend him he'll be disbarred. Excellent story, one of Al Pacino's best underrated films and performances. Starring Al Pacino, Jack Warden, John Forsythe, Lee Strasberg, Jeffrey Tambor, Christine Lahti, Sam Levene, Craig T. Nelson 8/10
