The Watcher (2000)
Serial killer David Allen Griffin likes to stalk his young female victims; he studies their daily routine and very is detailed and concise, even bringing along tools to enter their homes. Joel Campbell, an ex-FBI agent from Los Angeles has been on David's trail but hasn't been successful catching him. Frustrated, he moves to Chicago where he goes into therapy to try and deal with his failure to capture the serial killer. David ends up following him, calling him up to tell him he's sending Joel a picture of a woman and that he has a day to find her or he'll kill them. An average cat and mouse thriller; with gripping suspense, and although I didn't find Reeves to be all that menacing, he does make a surprisingly convincing villain. Starring James Spader, Keanu Reeves, Maris Tomei, Ernie Hudson 6/10

Oooo another film I love & own, but sadly on vhs.
I think Keanu Reeves pulled off being a psychotic killer very well considering he doesn't play these kinda character that often.
The most intense scene for me is when he is talking to the young girl on the streets, she hits with the radio boombox & he chases her & searches for her in the bleachers. I was scared when he found her.
I must get this movie on dvd soon! Thanks for the review!
Thanks Royal! I agree, the scene with the young girl was the most difficult to watch. Keanu was surprisingly good as the serial killer. :)
I haven't seen this movie, but I find Keanu's voice is stiff in other films. I really enjoyed him in The Matrix, but Sweet November was awful.
This film is definitely better than Sweet November, it has some suspenseful scenes. Keanu wasn't too bad, it's worth checking out ;)
