Frankie and Johnny (1991)

Johnny is a middle-aged divorced man who's just been released from prison. He gets a job in a restaurant owned by a Greek family. There he meets Frankie, who's a waitress. She's not happy with her life and soon finds out that Johnny is lonely and unhappy as well. He falls in love with her and wants to be with her, but her troubled past is constantly in her mind so she is hesitant about getting involved in another serious relationship. But Johnny is persistent and cares about her too much to let her get away. A sweet and different type of love story because it is unknown whether or not they will live happily ever after. Pfeiffer and Pacino are a great screen match. Starring Al Pacino, Michelle Pfeiffer, Hector Elizondo, Nathan Lane, Kate Nelligan 7/10
