The Bodyguard (1992)

Kevin Costner plays Frank Farmer, a former Secret Secret Service agent who is assigned to protect pop singer Rachel Marron (Whitney's Houston's film debut) who has been getting threatening letters. Frank turns her world upside down as he makes security improvements at Rachel's mansion. But her lifestyle and his professionalism clash because they both like taking charge. Despite that they end up falling in love. However, Frank can't protect her like that so he doesn't think it's a good idea to get involved with her. When someone tries to kill her they go to Frank's father house in the woods. But even there they're in danger, but no one knew they were there so obviously it's someone that knows Frank. Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston are both amazing in this terrific thriller story.
