Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman portray two homicide detectives; one a rookie, the other a veteran in this disturbing murder drama. Detective Mills and Somerset try to hunt down a serial killer which is using the seven deadly sins as their MO. Although Mills just wants to find the killer, Somerset goes and researches about the seven deadly sins to get a better understanding into the killer's sick mind.
