First Knight (1995)

Lancelot is a man who lives by the sword, who lives free in the world and goes wherever the road takes him, it's all chance. Then one day he rescues a beautiful woman in the forest after being ambushed by the evil Sir Malagant. He soon founds out she is Lady Guinevere is engaged to marry King Arthur of Camelot. Lancelot ends up falling in love with her and despite her struggle falls for him as well even after she marries Arthur. Meanwhile Malagant wants Camelot and attempts to take Arthur's throne from him so he can rule over everyone. An exciting and romantic adventure story; the chemistry between Ormond and Gere is convincing, but Connery seems a bit too old for the role of King Arthur.
