Nathan Detroit is a gambling man who loves the crap game, but he is broke and needs money to finance it. So when he sees Sky Masterson, the slickest gambler in New York, Nathan comes up with a plan; he makes a thousand dollar bet with Sky that he can't take missionary Sarah Brown to Havana with him.
